Covered a lot of ground over the weekend despite the weather and saw some awesome places I hadn’t been to before. Panned a little gold and ossie in various locations but not really enough to justify posting a photo. A highlight was a tunnel through the neck of a horseshoe bend on 19 Mile Ck. A mullock heap near an old hut site nearby yielded a 1920’s beer bottle. The other relics came from Findlay’s hut on Brown’s Plains.
It was great to see 26 or so intrepid prospectors turn up for the weekend and I trust that everyone enjoyed themselves as much as I did. Looking forward to the next gathering at Back Ck.
