I’m an ex- Tasmanian west coaster and became interested in metal detecting after retiring in 2011. I have tried my hand at detecting in the goldfields in Victoria and West Australia with not much success. However, after a health problem in 2019 I have decided to restrict my efforts to weekends in Tasmania.
