Hi All. Found this bit aluminium junk recently. I thought it was going to be just another drink can but no. When I saw the French writing & what looks like a flag in the background, plus the Made in England, I thought perhaps it might be the front of a cigar packet. As I haven’t found anything on the internet that resembles it, I’m now stumped. Hoping someone in the group might be able to shed some light on it.

Hmm, that’s a doozy! The rolled edges look as if they would slide over a box? Thin profile. Cigar box maaybeee as you suggest.

Yes, I thought 1920 - 40s ? too. The maker probably no longer exists. That
might explain why I can’t find anything about it on the internet.
