Just wondering how one joins the PMAT? is it more than just this forum here?Fossicking/prospecting is an over-regulated activity in Tasmania, and I was wondering what actions have been taken to raise awareness about this issue? I’m glad there is a community for this great national pastime. New to the forum, so apologies if this is in the wrong spot. Read some excellent stuff here. What are the big areas of over-reach in everyone’s opinion here?

We have 4 meets/field trips each year, two in spring and two in late summer or autumn. The invite will be posted here in the forum, in the field trips section. We do all our official business during the trips, so feel free to come along to one.
Our AGM is the first trip of the calendar year, and next year’s will probably be at the Lake Burbury campground.
