Is Sabbath Creek also known as Sunday Creek? I would love to check it out and do some panning with my wife. Could anyone advise if it is accessible to a 4WD? or just walking in from somewhere?, and is permission required to go there, please and thank you

Hi Rickie

Yes Sunday creek and sabbath creek are the same creek

You will need to speak with Andrew Homan who has the lease over sabbath creek who is on this forum and is also the president of our PMAT club

Access is a reasonable walk in off the Norfolk road as there is no vehicle access

Thanks for the reply Wil, very interesting. I saw a few vids recently of the Tassi boys prospecting that area looks a beautiful spot

Hi aj, my name is prospector Nic, I’m a YouTuber and prospector and I’m visiting Tasmania with my family for the next 5 weeks and I’m looking to do some prospecting, I have heard you may have the el on sabbath creek, are you interested in allowing me access to have a look around the place ? Maybe even go up some unexplored areas that you think might be worth a look? More than happy to log and show results etc. I’d be very happy to hear from you, if you are interested in getting touch plz contact me in 0499756258  thanks and hopefully chat soon.

Hi Nic,

Great to hear you’ve made the journey south to Tassie, probably a bit cooler than you’re used to though!

Re Sabbath Creek EL, best to contact Andrew Homan directly, his number can be found if you scroll further back up this thread.

Access should be no problem

Happy hunting

Cheers
