Selling gold, where to?

Hi all, with recent record gold prices im thinking of offloading 1/2oz or so plus a gold ring or two. Any recomendations on the best place to do so. I dont have the time to stuff about with tyre kickers on ebay.

Ron mentioned once or twice that Adelaide Exchange Jewellers buy gold. Not sure what sort of price you’d get.

Yep! They are very easy to deal with, but they only pay around 80% of the current day price.
It does save sending & insuring the gold to a refiner in Melbourne which can take up to 10% of the price, which leaves Adelaide a margin for profit & possible drop in price.

Thanks Ron, ended up getting better scrap price for some rings from a metalurges. Ill be in touch if i get rid of some of the larger nuggets.
