Raider Update:
After playing tourist for a week in Vic we headed off north to the dry wastes of Broken Hill and Corner Country NSW.
For fossickers and mineral collectors, Broken Hill is amecca of sorts: some wicked minerals come or of the mines and area generally.
I highly recommend the Geo Centre and the Mineral shop in Argent St (yes, all the streets are named after minerals 
)
~4hrs Nth is Tibooburra: funny little town with nice pubs and a reputation for gold.
Well, we battled windstorms on beautiful Gumvale Station and managed to snag a couple of bits to open the account!
Anyway, we are heading south now to start more serious detecting in the ‘Triangle’
