Scott@Coadfam , Blake @Bdawg and myself headed to the big island for 10 days of non stop prospecting armed with a 6000 , 4500 and a gold monster.
We spent time in the Avoca , Inglewood and Castlemaine areas.
We found gold everywhere except Inglewood which from all reports is a difficult place to prospect with thick scrub and pretty hot ground.
Between the three of us we managed 8 grams of gold mostly sub gram pieces and a few specimans in quartz.
We spent three days on a tour with gold and relic from geelong around the Castlemaine area and learned a lot about our machines and the gold areas worked around the area
We would definitely recommend these guys as they were very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of good leads on spots to check out after the tour had finished
A great time was had with great friends and can’t wait to do it all again next year.
