Great idea , but expensive . Last time i checked Bridport Aviation was doing return flights for $330 . Free parking for as long as you need . Then you will need a hire car . My cousin has Flinders Island Car Rental , not sure of prices but fuel in excess of $3.00 litre and with 40 plus cars is already booked out for the year ! Accommodation is a big problem on the island too , there is a huge shortage with even families being split up amongst venues at the moment . I love the idea but it will require much forward planning and bookings .

I would like to suggest the club have a trip to mathinna / mangana area
There is plenty of camping at the mathinna recreation ground with good toilet and shower facilities
Lots of old workings in the area to chose from if the relevant EL holder would be ok with it?
What’s everyone’s thoughts?

That’s a good idea. We had one there a few years back and the Mathinna oval was a good place to stay.

I’m keen for a look. Went up that way last weekend but struggled to get in any decent ground.
