My name is Ferdinand, I am from Austria and I pan gold since 50 years.
Right now I am in Tasmania and I am searching for the panning equipment to hire or to buy. Do you have any advice for a person to contact? I would appreciate to pan gold by myself and bring it into my collection. I already got the prospecting license.
If anybody is interested in changing Alpine gold from Austria, please answer.

Your best bet would be the camping and outdoor retail stores Anaconda or BCF as there are no dedicated prospecting stores in tassie unfortunately
They sell gold pans and yabbie pumps and basic digging tools
