In The Charcoal At Lefroy

That’s the problem Howard . There is some very good stuff among all the junk , but there is so much junk ! For me gold rings have rung up anywhere between 6 to 24 , with most in the 12 to 14 range . Once again mixed in with all the trash . Half Sov = 15 Full Sov = 17-18 . It is easy to get fatigued digging junk but the occasional golden bonus does cure a few aches and pains !

You sir, are a gold magnet! I’m sure there’s a fair bit of hard work and trash involved… but damn you just seem to attract the yellow stuff!

A few more bits on Monday , hard work though . And looking out for wriggly sticks all the time !

Some interesting things there Curt. Looks like a 3 ring bullet and a musketball. The big monogrammed object looks too heavy to be for a pocketwatch. An anchor pendant is a nice find. 2021 is looking good

G’day Karl . Couple of smashed 3ring bullets there . They are .577 Snider’s . Also some 577/.450 MH’s that have been flattened for some purpose with one having W cut into both sides ? The monogrammed item is a complete locket , half of another one beside it . I really like the silver anchor pendant , pity it’s so bent .

The pendant is nice. I recon the jeweler in Launie could straighten it :slightly_smiling_face:
